What is state of kid's lives today? Children's Health Magazine screened, evaluated, measured, and assessed the juvenile landscape. Below are some of the findings.

  • 73 million Number of tykes, tweens, and teens scampering around the United States
  • 74 Percentage of children who are breast-fed at birth
  • 7 Number of bonus IQ points they could rack up from the experience
  • 3 years, 1 month Average age at which kids hang up their Huggies
  • 79 Percentage of kids who have a sibling to help double-team Mom and Dad
  • 10 and 13 Ages of siblings at which the fights are likely to be the most ferocious
  • 3 Average age at which kids meet their first true best friend
