We're not saying babies stuffed into green stockings and made to look like sprouting little pea pods don't make for adorable photographs. We're just saying the pea suits are a little superfluous.
If you want to capture babies in all of their doughy, moody, one-of-a-kind glory, props and costumes often matter less than simple nuts and bolts: lighting, proximity, facial expressions.
